![]() ![]() Users don't have any right to get anything, and they're making modders feel guilty for their free work (not me). Users think they have a right to get flawless mods. 'The core of the problem is the customer mentality. Most just want to know they make users happy. Happens when modders don't get what they seek. It works when the modder cares about users, it's not the case anymore in apathethic stage. Users critique for the modder to make the mod better for them. If rules are broken, being an asshole fit my moral compass. Some think I'm rude but it's for reason : users don't read the rules. Critique means the free work is not good enough. They'll disable comments, stop publishing, take their mods down, or don't take users into account at all.įorbid critique. Modders create barriers between them users. Here's the difference : my reaction went from angry to apathetic. Wait ! He says he won't care about reception now, but he said it for months Is it because of his last mod mixed reception ? He knew, he wouldn't make stupid animations otherwise. He doesn't know he's about to get his hopes crushed (in the span of 7 months). Here you can observe fool in its natural evironment.
